Project, Modeling & Rendering of a educational center with sport facilities in Siracusa (Academy, 2013)

This project started from Urban-scale Analysis of the City of Siracusa: the requirement of new social services, such education centers and sport hubs, and strategic and functional location of this area suggested this polyvalent center, able to provide these multiple services. The aim of the design is the relationship with nature and environment feeling, through the design practice of Mies of the staggered walls: multifunctional spaces have full-frame windows and the roofs are gardens, limitating the environment impact.

In the fitness and sport area, which is imagined used all day, a red articulated ceiling remember the electrocardiogram of a sportsman, which is always moving.
